The check-in process was the most frustrating part of this trip. For being so close to PPG Paints you would think they would have the process down to a science. Instead you walk in and they take your name and say to give them 10-15 minutes and they will be ready to check you in. Go back up 15 minutes later and was told they needed a few more minutes. It was almost an hour before we got to check in. The room just kept filling up and no one was happy. It would have been faster to check us in as we came in, like every single hotel I have ever been to. It was even asked if we could have an hour extra to check out, no such luck.
Something else that was irritating when checking in is the surprise 100 dollar hold for liabilities. No where when booking the room is that specified.
After finally getting into the room, we weren't impressed. There was one outlet in the sitting area, and one by the beds, with a group of 4, plugging stuff in was challenging. The bathroom had clumps of hair on the shower floor, and the worst water pressure we have ever experienced. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, one of them had a giant dip in it and was lumpy. Overall we were not thrilled with our experience and even though the convience of it being right next to the arena, we won't stay again.
