Unfortunately, the bed which was shown at the time of booking was different from the beds available when we reached the hotel. We booked at this hotel specifically because we thought there would be one whole, solid double bed. Instead, the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, with no mattress pad on top. "The hotel is in a quiet area just outside Groningen. Easy to reach by car and if you wish to visit the city centre the P+R is convenient. Car parking is free and plentiful. Our room had a balcony and views over the countryside. The room itself was spacious and spotless. The reception staff were polite friendly and knowledgeable. We had dinner on both nights of our stay in the restaurant which was in my opinion excellent. It offered a wide variety of dishes for a very reasonable cost. Again the staff were top class. If I am in the area again this hotel will be my go to. "

"Returning customer as i like this hotel and convenient for my purposes. However on this occasion there were noisy next room residents late at nught and this was followed by staff stacking bottles and crates almost underneath my room or so it seemed - then 2 other loud crash noises some time after midnight - a disturbed nights sleep - hope for better next visit."
