However, the bathroom let the room down, it was mouldy in places and generally smelled damp - it simply needs a good bleach and scrub! "Fantastic location and great spot. Lintang was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a great spot to stay if you’re doing the hike or Jeep ride up Mt Batur. The property has multiple styles of rooms to suit different types of travellers. We stayed in a glamping “potato” it was pretty good, price was solid, bed was comfy, though it does get damp at night (be prepared for that). The only thing we noticed was there was a lot of flies (bugs). Which I’m told is just the area....

"The manager, Sam, runs a truly excellent accommodation!! My two days spent in Kintamani were one of the highlights of my time in Bali. Super friendly vibes in the reception area, always people hanging out, was great for me as a solo traveler, and no issues with noise when it came time to sleep. "Very pleased with our stay. Rooms are comfortable, clean. Shower was hot. View from the room were beautiful. Flies and bad and we had trouble finding the property, but none of that was the property’s fault. Morning breakfast was great. "We absolutely loved this resort! We chose this place for our first stay on our honeymoon in Bali, and the staff went above and beyond to make it extra special for us and to make us feel very welcomed there. We chose the royal villa for our stay, and let me just say the pictures don’t even do the place justice! The villa was huge, exceptionally clean, beautiful views of the jungle, and had the perfect amount of privacy for us to relax at. The spa at the resort had amazing massages that we really enjoyed and needed, and a perfect location just a short walk away from our villa. We loved just walking around the resort as all the grounds and scenery were stunning, and very well kept and maintained. The restaurant was easily a five star. I wish we got a chance to personally thank the chefs because their food was absolutely delicious, and it was all perfectly presented. There wasn’t a meal we had there that left us even a little disappointed. One of our favorite things about our stay at Ayung was their staff. The service and hospitality they provided could not have been any better! We met so many great workers there, and all of them were extremely kind and helpful. They did an excellent job at making us feel like at home. We cant wait to come back to Bali and stay here again! Would highly recommend this resort for others. Thanks! Noah and Amanda"

"What an incredible stay we had at the Kayon Jungle Resort. Myself and my partner visited as part of our honeymoon trip to Bali and we could not speak highly enough of the experience we had at this beautiful hotel. From start to finish the staff went above and beyond to make our stay feel as special as could be, whether it be constantly remembering my wife’s vegan dietary requirements and supporting accordingly, or such simple things as remembering exactly what we had been up to on any given day and checking in at every moment. Nothing was too big an ask, including arrangement of private transport for our own excursions (shout out Malen our driver!) or recommendations for places to visit/do. We could not recommend this place enough, the staff are an absolute credit to the hotel and the whole island. Loved it!"
