Friendly and helpful staff- a daily game drive where we saw so much (lion, rhino, leopard, elephant, hippo, crocodile, giraffe, zebra, kudu, buck...). The only negative was beng charged for two extra tea bags and extra milk - to have tea in our room. Was not the cost just the principal.

Great property in the middle of Pillanesburg National park! Pros- Cleanliness, sincere staff, two safari drives a day! Cons- No Halal food option but the chef tried their best to accommodate us. No heat in the room but we had plenty of blankets. I still recommend this property for folks wanting to enjoy African safari.

From the game drives, to the food and the accommodation - excellent all around. The resort is very family friendly with plenty of activities. This was our second stay and we hope to return later this year.

The restaurant around the watering hole is outstanding. It has a beautiful view of the area, with occasional elephants and other animals that make it unforgettable. The buffets were great, the staff were friendly and the rooms and facilities were clean and pleasant. I’ve stayed at several places around the Pilanesburg and Kwa Maritane is by far my favourite.

What a great few nights. Great service and very welcoming. The game drives were great and we opted for a morning and evening game drive. Fantastic food and friendly staff to serve us - the kids loved the waffle and pancake station for breakfast.

Such a wonderful place

Really nice rooms with comfy beds, wildlife just outside the door. The food is varied and very well made, the gamedrives are exciting. We also went on a hot-air balloon ride. Pricy but well worth the money. All in all a perfect stay.

Stayed here 18 years or so ago before the fire. We felt that nothing has changed, it was looking tired. The dinning was limited, our 14 year old daughter couldn’t really find much she liked. We were there 2 nights which for us was enough. The staff were excellent.

Pros: Free Game drives; half boards options; wild life viewing on your backyard; restaurant staff are very friendly. Cons: have to bring your free water from your room to the rrstaurant because it's not free while dining in. Early check out at 1000, can request later check out but it's additional 600 per hour; no conditioners only shampoo and body wash available; robes are rough; you can not view your TV from the beds.

We enjoyed a 4 night stay at this fantastic lodge. We had 4 game drives included and had a choice of either early morning or late afternoon drives. We were lucky enough to see eliphants, lions, rhinos, cheetas, hippos, crocodiles and a miltitude of other animals. The breakfast and dinner options were suberb!! The staff was amazing!!

Kwa Maritane is a very nice Lodge. Beautifull location, just the fact that you eat you dinner or breakfast with elefants, zebras, rhinos or something else less than 20 m away. Two Nice swimmingpools. Very good value for money. Highly recommended.
