Family friendly stay!

Lovely cottage which was well equipped for two very young children. Fantastic scenery all around and the hot tub at night is an absolute bonus!

Our stay here was fantastic. The cottage was clean, spacious, clean, and well equipped. The staff was very attentive, beginning with precise directions to get there and continuing throughout our stay. The hot tub was great and we had a couple clear nights for star gazing. We highly recommended Middlehead Cottages!!

Great value and great weekend away

Our second time here and definitely not our last, everything you need for a comfortable weekend away. We love the location, the DVD collection, the hot tub and the log fires. Wish we could stay for longer! Really good value too. Thanks x

Excellent communication, the welcome/check in was spot on. Location is secluded but directions from the team really accurate. Hottub was a bonus and the sense of really getting away from bustle of life is what sets this place apart from the rest. Very easy access to the North Yorkshire Moors and heritage railway too.

Fabulous!

Absolutely fabulius stay at the cottage. The kids loved tbe hot tub in particular. The cottage was lovely and bad everything you needed and the staff were wonderful. We'll definitely be back!!

Lovely setup with everything you could need for longer stays. Tricky to find with Google though. A real plus was being able to see the stars, which was incredible, from the hot tub. Thank you.

Loved the hot tub and private garden as we had 2 dogs. The walk in the forest was lovely and convenient as on our doorstep. If we were being picky, the road leading to the property was at times quite bumpy, so caution with speed is required, but what the property itself has to offer made up for it. It is a home away from home and a good place to getaway from the hustle of life.

Just got back from a weekend here and wow so quiet and peaceful. Hot tubs amazing. Went with 2 kids. 14 and 5 and both loved it. Forest on your door step literally. Gill looked after us and let the kids have an extra hour in bed on checkout day. Will be booking to go again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a treat

Fantastic property and host. We arrived just after chick in time, the hot tub was ready and up to temperature for us to use it straight away if we like, with complimentary spa dressinggowns and slippers. Also there were complimentary teas and coffies, bred jam and butter, milk and watter. We had always had enough logs for our fire and there were even dog treats for our little pet.

Beautiful quiet location looking out over fields and backed by woods with lots of lovely walks for the dogs. Great base camp for whitby and Scarborough. Cute, peaceful cabins with everything you need. Loved our stay with our dogs

Our stay at the farmhouse was absolutely beautiful, we were made to feel so welcome and everything we possible could need was there for us. Peaceful surroundings and lovely scenery. Our two little dogs loved the garden and the big field out front, definitely want to stay again soon!

Wonderful stay!

Wonderful stay! Cosy cottage with everything we needed! Great garden area for the dog and we enjoyed the hot tub. Staff very friendly and left a welcome pack for us. A little remote but that won’t stop us coming back

Lovely tranquil cottage with hot tub

As a last minute decision to stay overnight before going to flamingo land I am so glad we chose middle head cottages. Hosts were fantastic despite us being late and getting lost, cottage had everything you needed and was very comfortable. The hot tub was on and ready for us to use as soon as we got there and the house was lovely and cosy.

Had a super weekend break here. Location was great, right in the middle of the forest area with endless walks on the doorstep. Very clean, very comfortable. Had an excellent night’s sleep. Kids loved the hot tub. We’ll definitely be back x

Beautiful

Beautiful place to stay, very warm friendly welcome. Amazing scenery and walks. Would highly recommend staying here, the cottage was lovely, with the hot tub and log burner. Had a wonderful couple of days away.
