「The property was amazing, the staff were the most helpful of all the places we visited in Spain and Italy on our trip. I didn’t know we needed a car to visit this area and transport was arranged and the owner himself picked us up and dropped us off for a reasonable fee. This is a must see area. 」

「Es ist ein altes umgebautes und modernisietes Kloster hinter einer unscheinbaren Mauer und Holztür. Man wird direkt von der Rezeption in Empfang genommen und erhält eine erste kleine Rundführung. Die Zimmer selbst sind groß und schön eingerichtet. Das Bad ist sehr modern. Dem Service hätten wir gerne 6 Sterne gegeben, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen und Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Hotelanlage mit Pool und Whirlpool ist sehr schön eingetichtet und lädt zum verweilen ein. Der Ausblick...

「Beautiful grounds and environment, very idillic and scenic. We were able to catch a stunning sunset on the first night. However, the sunrise was blocked by a hill. The breakfast was decent with a good selection. The staff was friendly. We came in late March, so the grapevines were just stubs. Also, their Michelin restaurant was closed so we had to drive out to get dinner. Also none of the wine tours had started yet, and there were no free wine in the rooms (although you can purchase bottles)」

「The room is big and the city is lovely. but it's really really troublesome to park the car due to the hotel is located in ZTL zone. You have to park your car somewhere outside of the old town, and walk to the hotel to figure out how to park, then get a green card from the reception to display it on your windshield to avoid being fined by the police when drive in to unload the luggage, then drive out of the old town to find a parking space, then walk back to the hotel (6-8 mins walk). Gorgeously restored historical property nestled in their own olive grove, caring attentive staff, and a young chef creating absolutely delicious new takes on traditional Tuscan classics. We walked around the grounds, did some stargazing, and enjoyed the personal attention and the cooking class. 12/10, 3 thumbs up, 6 stars. Can't recommend it highly enough. We cannot wait to go back.」
