Where to start ? Stunning Villas,spacious well equipped, immaculately clean The resort itself,well cared for, swimming pool was clean, enough sunbeds,bar service to pool via telephone. The restaurant , beautiful views over the sea to the Islands.Bi fold windows helped cool air,along with fans when needed.the breakfast,a la carte was beautifully presented and cooked. We ate in the Restaurant most nights due to quality and service. The price was good as well. What topped off the stay was the staff.From Reception to ground staff,cleaners cooks, nothing was too much trouble, they were friendly, gave us good advice, arranged transport etc. A great resort made so much better by staff who cared and who went that extra mile each day

Absolutely beautiful room, pool and view. Great sunset watching from the pool, saw Myna birds, a kingfisher, swallows, sunbirds and at dusk beautiful fruit bats all from our private pool terrace. The room was so peaceful, the plunge pool was a decent size and beautifully clean. The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. We hired the hotel's scooter and side car for a couple of days and were able to tour the island and take in the sights as well as travelling at night to go to a nearby restaturant. The whole island is fabulous for scenery, lovely friendly local people. There were other tourists but not at all crowded and all of the beaches were pretty quiet - albeit we were there at peak season. Boat trips and excursions were available to book from the hotel or there were roadside huts that you could book from. We had a private long boat four island tour booked from the hotel which was good value, we had a great day with snorkeling and lunch included. Purana is on the West coast which is a quieter area and you need transport to get around to explore (unless you're happy to walk a way in the heat). They also hire out mountain bikes and normal scooters from the hotel

What makes this hotel is the staff. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you are treated with kindness and hospitality. The resort is situated on the other side of the island away from everything. There are a couple of restaurants nearby that the hotel will drop you at but everything else you might need is on the other side of the island. This resort is nestled in the mountain side and is great if you want to be secluded and away from everything but unfortunately we couldn’t swim in the ocean in front of the resort because the tide was always out and there was alot of rocks. I would recommend renting a motorcycle from the resort to get around the island. Breakfast is made to order and there is a nice selection. We did a long tail boat trip to Hong Island organised through the resort which I would highly recommend.

Room was beautiful! View was amazing over our own pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had scooters to rent and we toured the island. Loved it. The only thing that could have made it better was lounge chairs on your own deck.

The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel staff goes out of their way to fulfill every wish and is extremely attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Overall, Purana is an outstanding hotel and can be highly recommended.

Had a beautiful stay at this hotel, the staff were terrific and accommodating, the room was such a treat with the most beautiful views we had during our whole trip to Thailand which included multiple islands. The people on this island along with this hotel are so kind and we are so grateful for the hospitality and experience.

Im Purana Resort ist alles toll, besonders das Personal. Noch nie einen so zuvorkommenden Service erlebt. Zusätzlich gab es immer mal wieder die ein oder andere Überraschung. Wonderful 5 day stay at Purana for our honeymoon. The people who staff the resort are so very friendly and helpful. A highlight was the boat trip to Kong Island and also riding around the island in the resort’s Honda scooter with sidecar.
