The resort has a free shuttle into Hue. Take advantage of that to visit Hue. It is a place worth seeing. We had the Resort set up a driver to take us to various sites. It really helped. I suggest that you try to fly into Hue.

Hotel was clean, staff was helpful (except don’t try to get a coffee or pastry at the Starbucks in the lobby, no matter if it’s pouring outside or you’re in a rush- it’s more complicated than you think it will be). Not great that you have to pay extra to use the sauna. Didn’t try the breakfast.

We did the 2 night stay for our honeymoon straight after our wedding and couldn’t be happier. The villa is beautiful, food is amazing and we had the best sleep on the most comfy bed. There are plenty of activities within the resort too.
