"Overall, our experience at the hotel was mixed. On the positive side, we managed to check in an hour early, the staff were polite and helpful, and we enjoyed the pool and beach. Breakfast was quite good as well.
On the downside, we had an issue at the hotel’s restaurant called “Kitchen.” We ordered a salad that came with only three prawn crackers while there were two of us dining, so it wasn’t enough. When we asked for just a couple more crackers—something that costs basically nothing—they refused and said it wasn’t allowed unless we placed another order for a salad. As my partner’s job is a food and beverage manager we know the cost is negligible, and expected more flexibility, especially from a five-star hotel. Later, they even offered to send the crackers up to our room, which didn’t make sense because we needed them with our meal at the time, not later.In summary, the hotel is nice and the staff are respectful. At breakfast the manager did apologize for the break down with communication."
