High priced Chinese hotel

I needed to go to the Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh and the Hotels.com map showed this hotel was across from the embassy. Well it is not across from the embassy it is 500 or more meters down the street. This is a high priced hotel with some very nice features but not set up if you have children....no extra bed, swimming pool is 1.3 to 1.4 meters deep and it is cold because it is shaded and no kids pool. We got free breakfast with our room and all the food was for Chinese and very greasy. My Cambodian wife only ate the boiled rice and fruit and my daughter only ate some bread and fruit. I asked if they could make me some scrambled eggs and I got 2 eggs sunnyside up. They had some croissants that were the worst tasting croissants that I have ever had. We looked at the menu to see if we wanted dinner and when I saw that starters were $18 to $24 US we decided to go somewhere else. This would be a good hotel for couples who like to spend money as the rooms are quite fancy. We were the only non Chinese that we saw while we stayed here.

Timing was a very convenient place to stay - it was not too far from the main boulevard - but will need to take a tooktook (taxi) - staff was very friendly - the interior was a little old - BUT very spacious - restaurant attached is amazing (food wise)

Excellent hotel

Hotel was very nice, excellent staff with nothing a problem for them, room was excellent with all facilities needed. Only little fault, breakfast could be improved and if you wish to use restaurant you cannot charge to room otherwise a very enjoyable stay and can recommend for all travellers.

A Terrible Experience

This hotel was a wreck. It was undergoing a massive refurbishment which meant from 0700 to 1800 daily the sounds of grinding and drilling were present. In addition, a new building as being constructed just outside my window with construction noise being constant. The rooms had a complete lack of natural light. The breakfast was poorly presented and poorly served
