Small boutique hotel

Friendly staff with a warm welcome. Small hotel situated on a busy road. The rooms are surprisingly quiet with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast is made to order and the choice was reasonable with egg dishes or noodles as well as the usual fruit and pastries. There is a spa but I did not use it so I cannot comment. Tuk tuk available just outside which was great as walking in very warm weather and pavements being redone was not as easy as it could be. Cars parked on pavement is the norm. No pool but you can use the pool of a sister hotel. Short tuk tuk ride takes you to a great range of bars and restaurants around Bassac Lane. Minor comment that perhaps the wardrobe In the room could be bigger and have more hangers. If you are looking for a small boutique hotel for a couple of nights then this is a good choice. But if you want a big chain hotel with a choice of bars and restaurants with a large on site pool then you will be disappointed.

A Peaceful Oasis in the Heart of Phnom Penh

Our family's stay at La Rose Boutique Hotel & Spa was absolutely wonderful. The staff were very friendly and courteous - and the hotel itself was spacious, clean and centrally located. The restaurant was also very good - especially for a family with kids that are finicky about new cuisines. The selection of food available made it easy for everybody to find something they liked. This is an excellent hotel that is reasonably priced. And I can't emphasize enough how wonderful the staff treats its guests. I highly recommend anybody visiting Phnom Penh to stay here.

Love the place. Staff is exceptional when it comes to their hotel and spa services. If not for the crappy tuk-tuk service, I wouldve given a perfect score. But the in-room sauna might make up for it. Will definitely book this hotel again when I return to Phnom Penh.

Pleasant hotel but will stay elsewhere next time

The staff turn on the whole Cambodian hospitality thing and try hard to please. The hotel itself is small and old-style. The rooms themselves are large and reasonably comfortable. The hotel doesn't seem to be known to taxi drivers and I had a hard time getting back there after dark, particularly as it is unlit and inconspicuous. Management should get some lighting out front.

Une arnaque pour cet hotel qui devrait facturer 40€ au lieu des 75€ que nous avons paye. Un petit batiment sans charme ni lumiere coince entre deux immeubles sur un grand boulevard. Une odeur d'humidité et d'egout affreuse dans les couloirs et les chambres. Une pseudo cantine sombre et deprimante. Une experience decevante et enervante au vu des tarifs pratiques par d ´ autres hotels.

Little Gem in a bustling city

La Rose Boutique Hotel and Spa is trying very hard to lift itself up to compete with 5 star standards. The rooms are lovely, the spa/massage excellent and the staff are so helpful. The only thing letting it down is the restaurant. Food was lovely but you are either western or Asian, excel in one don't be mediocre in both.

Hotel is very nice, staff are very helpful. Only odd note is the floors in the rooms are bare concrete.
