Surrounded by rice fields and water buffalo, with beautiful stilted houses, the whole place felt calm and unique. The staff were excellent—always friendly, attentive, and professional. They really made us feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel’s design is stylish yet reflects the local culture, which made the stay feel very authentic. A lovely surprise was receiving a small bag of rice from their own fields when we checked out. Such a simple but meaningful gesture left a deep impression. "Had a great stay, very private and personalised service. The restraint had lots of options and while they didn't offer many vegetarian dishes for our son they were able to make a number of dishes vegetarian. The family villa with private plunge pool was spacious and quiet, the main pool was also excellent and we mostly had that to ourselves too. Overnight you could hear nothing except the frogs, insects and lizards. Very relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle."

The only marks against it was when we got to the hotel they tried putting us in a room without a balcony, even though we had already paid for one, and tried charging us extra (it was worked out after I showed them the receipt). Also, we booked a massage in the spa and the staff were 10 minutes late and we had to remind them we were waiting."
