"Remote location outside Rayong, in the forest. You need a car to get here. Overall quite ok. They have built a number of new small houses, big space for a cheap price. Not good: Bathroom door is only 160-170cm high. I bang my head sooooo many times. They really should put in new doors. No cleaning! I stayed 1 week for some business in Rayong. "Great value for money. The check in staff were great. Breakfast was decent. Some construction and renovations, but honestly you barely heard it. They have an amazing cafe on the road to watch the view, overall we were very pleased with our experience."

"Been coming to Sai Kaew Resort for 16 years. It’s a great location with a very competent and friendly staff. There is major construction going on which we were unaware of. They also moved the breakfast buffet from the location next to the beach to another building which has no view. Finally the food inflation in Thailand is unbelievable and this applies to all tourist locations. It varies between 300 and 800 percent. Yes the numbers are correct. It is a sad development to what I consider the best vacation destination in the world. "

Perfect last minute booking

"Last minute booking headed to Koh Samet to catch the ferry the next day. Warning the ferries are 40-45 minutes away but it worked out fine. Hotel was clean, comfortable, service great and bed very very comfy ,😁"

Perfect chill

"Was exactly as the guide and the photos portrayed. Not a lot to do outside of the hotel grounds but the hotel itself was excellen. The Fishbar was a little expensive but the food was really nice. Would thoroughly recommend for a relaxing break "
