We loved it so much that we decided to try the dinner buffet too, and it was just as delicious. We also enjoyed the spa services and one of the local tours offered by the hotel — both were excellent. The staff deserves special mention: every single person we met was pleasant, smiling, and genuinely cared about our comfort. They consistently went above and beyond to make sure every guest was happy. The gorgeous morning views were the perfect bonus to an already amazing stay. "This is an out of the way, rugged and basic property. No pool. But they had a trampoline and a tree swing for the kids. Very quiet. Beautiful views of Lantang region. Note: you need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle with high clearance to get there. The last kilometer or so is unpaved, bumpy, muddy, and narrow. Parking is in a small dirt lot with a gate that is locked at night."
