During the summer months in Austin, Texas, millions of Mexican Freetail bats nest underneath the Congress Street bridge downtown. Go there at sunset and you will be able to see them leave the bridge and head out for their nightly feed. Luckily, they just go for insects! Seeing them swarm into the dusk sky is quite a sight! Here's a little secret! If you want more of a close-up view, there's another bat colony on the I-35 overpass at McNeil Road in North Austin. Be careful of traffic, but you can get some great views and photos (like this one) at this spot.

Everything was outstanding. From the valet to the room it was wonderful. Heads up and be prepared to spend 40 a day for valet. If not you’re going to try to find somewhere to park and good luck on that.
