「The lodge was amazingly convenient on the main highway. Gorgeous views. Friendly staff. Robin was working and he was very professional and friendly. Only reason I would not give it five stars is that the room itself was very basic and simple. Very outdated. Reminded me of a Ramada Inn. So $350/night (off season) and the room wasn’t very nice. Also the highway in front of the lodge is very loud with nonstop loud pickup trucks and cars. I understand this isn’t the hotel’s fault, but just something...

「First of all, I was mislead by Palmer house. On Expedia site it was written as a hotel resort. I reserve room using Expedia based on that fact that I am reserving a hotel room. Total amount of charge was $368.98. In reality when I came to this facility, it was a dirty very low-class motel. Front desk person except the fact that this is not a hotel but motel. He told me that they have few good rooms as well. On my question why they sold me motel instead of hotel rooms, he was unable to answer....

「This place was far nicer than it had any business being for a rambler motel and far nicer than you would think given the pictures. It is a very old motel but has been extensively and well remodeled (or is in the process of-workmen were there working on another room) and the room I was in was much nicer than most hotels I have stayed in. The staff (I think also the owners in this case) was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.」
