Overall very nice. Friendly welcoming staff, room was very nice, lovely shower and bathroom. The room was very nicely styled with some nice touches. Lovely breakfast (was surprised to be charged extra for a cappuccino / but it was nice at least). The bed was the only thing that could have been better it was one of the join together type beds and could feel the join through the bedding. Overall, a very nice stay and would certainly stay again.

Stop over on golf trip
Hotel is quite pleasant and the food at dinner was good quality. Disappointed however to be asked to pay extra for any coffee other than filter coffee at breakfast given the hotel pricing for B&B.

Pricey for what you get
The good part: classic double is small but comfortable bed ( 2singles pushed together to make a king size) and nice linen & pillows, tiny bathroom is a design masterpiece and actually works better than many bigger (shower). The not so good part: priced as a luxury place but it isn’t, doesn’t represent good value for money, no biscuits in room, rough loo paper, rather mean breakfast (and too much oil in cooking) Ie 1 each rasher sausage egg, however quality was good, also no croissants or pastries. It was o/a ok but we wouldn’t stay there again

Lovely Hotel
Amazing hotel staff very friendly rooms quirky and very clean food exceptional lovely location very quiet but only fuve mins walk tio village where there are two lovely pubs and corner shop.

There was nothing I disliked. Beautiful room, very comfortable with everything we needed. The food was first rate, really enjoyed it. Staff were excellent, most attentive and pleasant.

Beautiful place
Had a problem with room. But was moved with no fuss. Sometimes that happens but how the staff responds is what counts. Therefore would stay again. Restaurant needs some character added. Feels like you need to whisper. But the staff and food excellent.

A liitle disappointing for the price. Light in shower not working, small room but adequate but nothing special. In the price range we would a least expect complimentary biscuits with the tea a coffee.

Amazing atmosphere. Great food.
An amazing place to stay for a one or two night romantic break. The oldest part of the Manor is very old and I’d recommend booking one of the old rooms for atmosphere. The room had everything we needed but make sure you have realistic expectations the place is over 900 years old so there is a limit to how ’mod’ it can be. The real highlight is the restaurant. Absolutely beautiful food and reasonably priced. Do book a table it’s well worth it. But do check before booking a room that the restaurant is open. It closes some evenings.

Beautiful grounds with plenty of space for relaxing with a drink in the sun. Deluxe room was beautiful with the most amazing bath in the corner. The food in the restaurant was excellent and catered well for my gluten free partner. There wasn’t any GF bread on our second morning due to an error but they made up for it by offering alternatives. Overall we had an amazing time and would recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay, the staff were so friendly and the room was spotless. The restaurant had a wonderful menu and the food was was top class and was superbly presented. Highly recommended.

Little Gem on the farm.
Nice on the farm feeling. Beautiful to walk around in this beautiful setting. Brealfast is super. Staff very friendly. Great parking.

Very nice short break in a lovely part of the uk
Staff excellent. Very friendly ans efficient. Room very comfortable and a generous size with sittiing area. Only issue the was that the room was very dark due to dark wooden cladding on the walls. Very good breakfasts.
