Enjoyable stay

Balcony overlooking Clermont Ferrand an unexpected bonus. Restaurant excellent. Personnel really helpful & friendly, albeit run off their feet due to understaffing.

Convenient

Overnight stop when making the journey from Spain to UK. Hotel easy to find, close to main road, but not affected by traffic noise. Staff friendly. Only downside, it was 38 degrees at 7:00pm outside, public area and restaurant didn’t seem to have any aircon. Room however was pleasantly cooler. Accidentally left my Kindle device, was contacted by email during the day of my departure, contacted the hotel later to arrange for it to be returned. Received notification when it was sent

Very nice hotel. We had to ask to change our room because it was joined with another one and we could hear someone talking all the time. Luckily there was a different room available and it was really nice and quiet there. Disappointed with very slow internet. Basically not usable… we mentioned it at the checkout and a young woman at the front desk didn’t apologize or felt bad about it all. Just said they know about it. Very disappointing customer service. We got there pretty late and were hoping to have a nice supper there as that’s what was mentioned in the services. But they said the kitchen is closed already (it was around 8pm) and they could only offer us a salad. Other than that - a good hotel, with nice and clean rooms.

Very good but massively over priced

We were a late booking for this hotel and it was almost at capacity. That may explain why the room charge was so high - £286 for room only. Current price is c.£100. I feel that price we paid was excessive. The hotel was good, the reception was good. The restaurant was good, and the restaurant manager deserved a medal! She kept the whole, full restaurant served in a timely manner with what appeared to be an inexperienced staff. Well done!

The Hotel was perfect in every way Welcoming, warm, cosy and had a good restaurant with a bijou bar and lounge area The location was perfect being close to the A75 and with secure parking I will definitely book again when I next drive to and from Spain
