Had asked for a ground floor room, unfortunately all the kitchen suites were on the second floor we were in room 202 and the parking spot was as far away as it could be. We had called 2 days before arriving, explaining that my husband was recovering from knee surgery. They could have given us a room with a closer parking spot.
Every piece of crockery was mismatched. We had 6 desert spoons , no teaspoons, 1 red martini glass, 2 regular glasses, no wine glasses, 1 tiny mug and 1 large mug.
Poured water in the coffee machine and it poured right out the bottom of the machine. Requested a new macine from the receptionist who was sitting outside smoking, she advised me that she would send a new one to the room right away. We were out for a couple of hours, when we arrived back, no new coffee machine. Called receptionist she told us she'd forgotten, sent 1 straight up, somehow the pour spout was sitting right next to the handle at the back. We made it work.
This motel is very old and jaded, with nothing being done to make it attractive.
We have stayed in the cheaper basic room and it was fine, wished we had booked that again especially as we never used the kitchen.
For some reason I understood that half of the money had been paid and we only had to pay the balance of around $177. Was advised that we still owed the full amount, which we paid.
