「The staff were Brilliant. We were given what could be described as a standard room when we arrived. When we showed reception picture of room which was booked they changed room to room on picture immediately. It was mentioned that it should not have been advertised as a superior room. Hotel was perfect for a warm , quiet welcome after a day walking. Staff were fantastic. 」

「The hotel is ideally situated - while not being in an immediately picturesque location, its proximity to the M6, A66 and Penrith North Lakes railway station make it the perfect base for exploring the beauty of the Lake District in one direction and Yorkshire in the other. The staff are excellent, particularly in the FYR restaurant: friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is equally impressive and the hotel itself is clean, comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. 」
