Fabulous, luxurious place!

Absolutely amazing stay for two nights. Host/owner is incredibly kind and helpful- even offered some honey/lemon for my sore throat! I stayed in the beautiful, clean room with the lovely, clean private bathroom with a fantastic tub. The private bathroom was located down a private hallway, which is so much nicer than having to go to/from it amongst other guests. I always appreciate a robe, so that was a nice touch :) Breakfast was great as well, and the bed was very comfy. I would absolutely stay here again!

Place to stay.

I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast for a few reasons. The town itself is extremely accessible by foot and safe to do so later in the evening. The buildings themselves have so much character and the locals are very friendly. The breakfast is to die for. I had the smoked salmon with eggs for my hot dish order but there was bread for toast, delicious yogurts, fresh fruit, juice, cereals..etc. A very good spread. The tables were set with clean crisp white linens and nice China and silver wear.

Good choice for weekend getaway

We had the family room with 2 single beds and one double and Ii was surprised at how much room we had despite furniture + ensuite bathroom and 3 beds. The room was clean and there were regular toiletries. The home cooked breakfast was lovely and the owner Dawn was very welcoming. She even offered to go shopping for breakfast items for us if we wished. Beds were comfortable and no issue with storing luggage after checkout. It was a steep climb up for my mum after a days walk in the lakes but it's also handy having the bus station round the corner.

Wonderful hotel, had a pleasant stay. The host was very welcoming. There were multiple choices for morning breakfast and the cooked breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast time is usually between 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. , but the host was accommodating when I requested for an earlier breakfast. Suitable for business trips. Since the rooms are quite close by, privacy can be an issue if on a private trip.

A gem in Penrith

Wonderful hotel a pleasant walk from town center in lovely Penrith, close to the Lakes District. Our host, Dawn, was very helpful. The house is nicely decorated and immaculate. All the furnishing were period, comfortable and functional. We had a queen bed and ensuite bath. I would definitely stay here again. Must climb stairs to room. Parking is on the street but we got a place right in front of the house (4:30 pm arrival) and we’re given a timer so we did not have to worry about tickets. Breakfast was delicious.

Crosby on the Coast to Coast .

Crosby was the perfect stopping place whilst doing the Coast to Coast cycle route. A beautiful house and a very friendly welcome. Very comfortable with a very thoughtful service ... and a fantastic local breakfast to start the say. Fantastic....thank you !

Great B&B

We had a fantastic stay at Crosby B&B. The room was modern and very comfortable; the breakfast was very tasty; the owners were very friendly and helpful in providing guidance on local restaurants and hikes; and the B&B was well situated just a short walk from the center of town and a short drive to the beautiful sites in the Lake District. I would highly recommend this B&B. It was our favorite place to stay in our trip to Great Britain.

Lovely little B&B

Quiet location, friendly staff and very clean facilities mean that this is a simple but lovely place to staff. Breakfast was very good – nicely presented, with a twist on ‘full English’. It is nice to have a pleasant stay somewhere that is not pretentious or overdone (heavy wall paper screaming … hey you are in a Victorian house), that is clean and well appointed – thoroughly recommended.
