"Loved our 3 night stay. Had a seafacing room with bay window so had an amazing view right along the estuary. Ate in the hotel one night and had a good, enjoyable meal. Staff were very helpful and friendly, poor lass behind the bar was run off her feet but maintained a calm and pleasant attitude. A beautiful spot for a relaxing and restful break and a handy place for exploring many beaches etc"

"The location of the hotel was ideal. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, but could do with sprucing up and updating. The bed was comfortable, and the shower over the bath was nice and powerful. The staff were friendly. The bar and restaurant were cosy and the breakfast room was light and bright. We had the continental breakfast, which was lovely, with a choice of cereals, fabulous choice of fresh fruit and juices, ham & cheese, Danish pastries, toast, and individual pots of tea & coffee. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone and would stay therr again."

"I came in on the late ferry arriving just before midnight, expecting a room key left on the desk; nope, a sweet lady greeted me & carried my suitcase up to my room. Didn’t expect that so late in a small hotel in a small village. Room had everything I needed. They were fine with me leaving my suitcase for a while in the morning while I went for a walk. Very convenient to both the ferry & train station."

"Any absolute fantastic 6 night stay! We were greeted by Kate on arrival and Martin later on. The accommodation was lovely and clean and appreciated the little welcome pack (eggs, biscuits & milk. The bonus was the amazing weather we’ve had! There isn’t a local pub but we sat out on an evening and it was lovely to get away from the phone as internet is not great. 20mins from the coast and Tesco. Would really recommend this property. Oh and one last thing, no light pollution, so the stars are amazing and view spectacular!"
