The hotel is new and clean, and the staff's service was excellent. It is close to shops and restaurants. It was an excellent experience; many thanks to those responsible for this wonderful hotel.

Shopped all over the train station area, and I can easily recommend Campanile Metz as very good, inexpensive and literally next door to the train station. Our room faced the train station and we NEVER heard a train. You have to walk thru the train station to get to the restaurants, but Metz is a small town and this is not a big deal.

This was a wonderful place. I would have made this a destination rather than a quick overnight into France. The building is charing and historic but with nicely updated rooms, comfortable beds and bedding, and lovely farm views. The breakfast was wonderful. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. The setting is serene and beautiful. And the whole stay was very affordable.

The location of the hotel is excellent: just across from the train station and 15 minutes walk to the cathedral through interesting and nice streets. Large public parking near by with reduction for
hotel guests. The room we had, facing away from the street,
was very quiet.
Above all we want to mention the friendly and helpful staff.
We certainly would come again.

Very charming hotel in the heart of Metz. Great location close to several attractions and restaurants/cafes. Very friendly staff who were able to accommodate our very poor French. If you are looking for a traditionally classic French hotel, look no further. It helped make our stay in Metz a magical experience.
