Valentina foi muito atenciosa e simpática no atendimento. Por um problema com o carro alugado, acabamos chegando na hospedagem só após o horário do checkin. Valentina preparou o quarto para que pudéssemos chegar depois do horário. O hospedagem é muito linda e, apesar de antiga, é muito bem preservada e limpa. O apartamento tinha ótima estrutura. Adoramos a estadia.

Un oasi di relax

Situato a mezz'ora da Firenze questa struttura immersa nel verde è ideale per chi cerca un po' di relax. Camere dotate di cucina, pulite e arredate con gusto. C'è anche una piscina e il ristorante, ottimo. Gentilissimi tutto lo staff.

Ruhige Anlage zum Entspannen mit tollem Ausblick.

Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön ruhig und man hat einen tollen Ausblick. Nach Florenz fährt man mit dem Auto ca. 35 min. Wenn man Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist das die richtige Unterkunft! Auch der Pool ist schön für eine Erfrischung. W-LAN funktioniert im Zimmer nicht, aber im Garten vor der Rezeption.

The best place to stay

We loved it there it was beautiful and the staff was so nice and very helpful, we would recommend it to anyone loved loved it there. The food at there restaurant was the best food we had in Italy!!

NON è un Hotel, sono appartamenti

Attenzione: è un appartamento quindi per tutto il soggiorno non c'è stato né cambio biancheria da letto, né cambio biancheria da bagno, né ripristino carta igienica. Per la carta igienica abbiamo richiesta alla reception e gentilmente ci è stata data dopo la prima fornitura, anche una seconda volta; poi l'abbiamo dovuta comprare. Posizione isolata ma stupenda con vista sulle colline fiorentine. Pace e tranquillità.

Nice, quiet, comfortable family stay.

Although it is 25 minutes away from Florence via train, it is a very nice local area. The villa presents very authentic environment with its location and decorations. It is also very close to several touristic towns and villages. Its price is very well deserved as well.

Nice hotel in the countryside and on top of a hill

The overall experience was fantastic. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. You need a car to live to stay at this hotel but it is absolutely worth it if you want to explore the wine regions. Close proximity to Pontasieve from where you can take the train to Florence.

Voei de Barcelona para Milão o voo atrasou 2 horas.Aluguei carro em Milão e pedi para avisar o hotel que chegaria atrasado.Informaram que após as 10 horas da noite deixariam a chave do quarto na recepção.Chegamos no hotel as 11 horas.Tudo deserto.Nenhum recado.Tudo abandonado.Nao nos restou outra alternativa senão ir embora e procurar outro hotel quando já era meia noite.Gostaria de receber o pagamento efetuado de volta

Très bel agritourisme!

Au milieu des champs d'oliviers, sur les collines, cet agritourisme est idéal pour se ressourcer. Appartements pour 2 spacieux, bien équipés, confortables. Le personnel est très sympathique, à l'écoute des besoins et disponible. Très bon restaurant (copieux!). Situé à 20km de Florence, idéal pour s'y rendre et rejoindre l'autoroute pour rejoindre d'autres villes (mais prévoir un GPS pour éviter les pertes de temps et de patience: tout est très mal indiqué pour entrer et sortir de Florence). Belle piscine. Excellent rapport qualité/prix

Splendida tenuta a due passi da Firenze.

Villa Grassina è un incantevole tenuta a circa 20 km da Firenze, perfetta per rilassarsi e staccare la spina anche solo per un week end. E' comodissima come base per raggiungere il capoluogo, ed offre buoni servizi quali una bella piscina, un buon ristorante, tanto verde, wi-fi gratuito, possibilità di acquistare vino e prodotti tipici.. Le camere sono rustiche, trattandosi di ambienti in immobili molto antichi e ristrutturati, ma comunque comode e pulite. Da rivedere forse il bagno (angusto, ma comunque pulito), e la colazione, buona ma poco varia. Personale gentile e disponibile. Da provare sicuramente.

spectacular views and gorgeous location

Villa Grassina is a beautiful property situated high in the hills on a very steep narrow dirt road that is not known to GPS but well worth the effort to find. We spent 5 days touring around Tuscany and Florence on day trips and this was the perfect place to return to each evening to relax.

Difficult to find. GPS did not register the address. Definitely need a car. The staff were great. Especially enjoyed Suzanne's presentation about the property, olive growing and wine tasting. Only issue was a strong sewage smell in our villa. Otherwise a perfect home base for day trips to Florence and around Tuscany.

UN TRES BON HOTEL A LA CAMPAGNE MAIS...

Cet hôtel est très bien, c'est une ancienne et très belle villa toscane située dans les collines qui dominent Florence. Les appartements sont très bien, le cadre est idéal, les oiseaux chantent. Il y a un domaine agricole étendu avec des oliviers et des vignes. Le problème, c'est qu'il faut vraiment y aller en voiture, car il est difficile d'accès et à 35 km de Florence. Heureusement, le personnel de l'hôtel a été très bien et nous a permis d'atteindre une gare qui nous a permis de rallier Florence pour deux jours de visites merveilleuses. Un point à noter aussi, le restaurant n'est ouvert que le week end, mais on peut se faire à manger dans l'appartement et commander le petit déjeuner pour le lendemain.

Peaceful, friendly and picture perfect

We had a wonderful week at Villa Grassina. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. It is a great place to explore the region. We soon found that taking a short drive (15 min) to Pontasieve and catching the train was the best way to Florence. The restaurant is great (Fri-Sun) and several of good recommendations nearby. We hope to return.
