Lovely spacious apartment, comfortable bed, good air conditioning. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and the cleaning whilst we stayed was excellent. Great location, across the road from the beach and the bus stop, so you can easily travel around from here. A few restaurants along the road, our favourites were Clay oven and Dundees (a takeaway that’s recently opened). Overall the apartment was perfect for our stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful, overall a fantastic stay and we would definitely come back.

The place is in a great location!! Lavern and the other tenants made the trip. Local people are wonderful. Fish, fish, and more fish is worth visiting. The Kingfish was very tasty.

The property is in a good location. Has good outside space, and is well looked after. I found the owners to be helpful lovely people. Having a lovely cleaner in every other day is also a blessing. I think booking in needs a rethink as you have to phone a local number on arrival. I would stay again.

Wonderful location and ocean view. Cosy studio, plenty of storage space (no hairdryer and bring beach towels & equipment). Literally cross the road to the beach and swim in view of your balcony (definitely opt for the ocean view side, ideally upstairs for best view). Clean but not fancy, great value.

We had vreat communication with Jeoffrey before arriving and he arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport. We had a lovely welcome on arrival. During our stay Jeoffrey and his wife wrre on hand to answer any queries and to provide anything we needed. On request Jeoffrey arranged our hire car. We would like to say a very big thankyou to Laverne the house keeper who does an amazing job and also friendky and calm when you are requesting anything. This propert had prime location for access to eveything on the West coast of Barbados.

Overall my stay was good. The beach view is a plus. Only thing I would improve is the details how to access the apartment. I had to call the manager even though the email said I would receive the lockbox information. I kept checking my email till I decided to just call the number. On the last day the kitchen sink started making sounds as if it was backing up. Outside of that my short stay was cool.

Sitting out on the patio with coffee in the morning was heavenly. A minute's walk to a great swimming beach that was never crowded. There were monkeys who came to play in the yard and we were eye level with the birds who came to the treetops in the evening. We didn't have a car and explored the island by local bus. The owners, Jeoffrey and Dawn were wonderful! An added bonus was being able to have front row seats (on our patio) for the New Years' Eve Firework display!

Affordable comfortable place close to beach.

Great location opposite the beach with a 40 mins casual stroll south of Holetown. Accommodation gets the basics right, very comfortable bed and extremely clean with lovely views over Paynes bay beach. Lovely local little bajan restaurants and bars close by and affordable for all. (QP/Cliffs will cost you a bit) Bus stops close by also for travel north or south. Fish market opposite is a must watching the lovely lady prepare your fish before you cook your catch that evening. A few more cooking utensils wouldn’t go a miss in the kitchen or a cafeteria. Hairdryer also but with a few people residing in the block they’re always about to help you out. Little more comms from the owners would have been nice or just an acknowledgment when asking the questions above. Would stay again for sure with what’s on offer. Ps - ear plugs are essential with the cockerels and crickets of an evening and early mornings. Get them quite a lot all over the island.

Fab holiday

The accommodation is pretty basic but it has all you need. The bed is comfortable, there was a table and chairs, a stove, a fridge, toaster and kettle and sink. The bathroom was small but functional. No balcony but new air conditioning. It was really clean, it was across the road from a small local beach and within walking distance from the main Payne bay beach. The bus stops were about 100-150m from the property. The next supermarket was only a short bus ride away and a petrol station with basic provisions just a short walk away. A couple of nice local restaurants in the area. The cleaner/housekeeper was lovely and helpful and able to hold onto our luggage whilst we spent another few hours on the beach on our last day. The other guests were very pleasant. We did have cockerels crowing most of the night, but it felt very authentic :) we went on a couple of trips and arranged pick up from beach view hotel/apartments, which is just across the little road. We let the security guy know we were there so if the pickup showed up at hotel reception they knew where we were. Overall it was a really good experience. We felt safe always. It is about 45min-1hr to the fish market at Oistins by bus though. Make sure you’ve printed off the details of where the property is or say ‘beach view’ in Paynes bay to the taxi driver as we had a bit of a last minute panic as he didn’t know where to take us 😆
The house with the apartments is located just behind the church (White House). This is the local beach - not huge but a better one is within walking distance (north) but ok for a quick dip
