"Mitten in historischer Altstadt. Gut für Globetrotter, schlecht mit Fahrzeug. Wir hatten ein muffiges Erdgeschosszimmer, kleines Fenster für Luft, aber kaum Licht. Wollten extra "Übernachtungs-Tax" abrechnen. Null Englischenntnis."

"Great location in the heart of the community. Restaurants markets and stores in walking distance. Third bed was in middle of kitchen /living area. We were there during a music festival in the piazza, ended up with party goers sitting in doorway and smoking/ talking late into the night."

A very comfortable room, breakfast included, everything worked well, it was a unique experience to stay at medieval ex convent building in the middle of Italy, restaurants, shops, unique coffee shops and one of the best candy, chocolate shop in town, a very small one, full of history, beautiful churches, safe and alive, wonderful people around, either alone or with company, it’s a unique place to visit, all highways are excellent, every morning. Michele and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The only thing I can say that might be a detriment is the air conditioning could have been stronger. I will say that is was in the high 90s. I would definitely use this hotel again

We found our room spacious and absolutely clean. Ignazio and Donatella did all they could to be helpful. We had nice talks at the breakfast. I would stay again.

I was looking for an authentic place to stay in Muro Lucano and Nonna's was it! You can walk to many places but know that there are many steps and hills. Grocery store a minute walk down the street.

friendly, accommodating, great location, a very pleasant stay at a good price. Roberto & co. went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, even getting various vegan goodies for the ample included breakfast. definitely more of a home or bed & breakfast feel than hotel. grazie mille!!

We had an excellent stay here. The family (owners) are both warm and friendly, and the views are amazing. The room and bath are both spacious with a screened window for fresh air. Breakfast was typical Italian sweet breakfast, but they pivoted to accommodate my dairy allergy. Their on site restaurant is open for dinner on the weekends, and the food they served was delicious- my husband especially enjoyed the house made cheese and yogurt. If you like horses or just being out in the country, this...

What a wonderful, quiet sanctuary with the modern facilities and amazing chef it also has the qualities of being able to visit Melfi, which is a wonderful town rich in history. This hotel is worth the trip and you will find you get far more than what you pay for. I highly recommend it.
