Avoid This Hotel: A Truly Unacceptable Experience
Our stay at this hotel was incredibly frustrating and fell far short of expectations. We rarely leave negative reviews, but this was truly one of a kind.
The owner demanded a $200 cash deposit, claiming it helped guests care for items. This forced us to find a bank, delaying our plans. Upon returning from dinner, we were locked out, finding the owner waiting for the cash – an unprofessional start.
Inside, the balcony door wouldn't lock, a major security concern. When we asked for help, the owner was extremely annoyed, dismissively telling us to "push the door up." It didn't work, and he offered no assistance, leaving us feeling unsafe.
Housekeeping was non-existent unless requested. We tried to call room service for cleaning, but the line didn't work. The owner, when called at the front desk, claimed he "never had issues with the phone." Our room was never cleaned.
Requesting towels was another ordeal. The owner said he was "busy" and told us to come downstairs. After waiting 25 minutes for them to be delivered, we had to retrieve them ourselves. Incredibly unprofessional.
Finally, the AC unit was loud and ineffective, failing to maintain temperature. This added to our discomfort.
This hotel showed a shocking lack of customer service and professionalism. The owner's attitude was consistently unhelpful and rude. Choose another hotel for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
