Campanile Geneve - Ferney-Voltaire

8/10 Good

"Advertising stated that the hotel was close to the geneva airport. This was true BUT in rush hour in a taxi, it cost me 42 CF to the trip and again 23 CF next moring (that was at 6:30 am and no traffic!!) The food options for supper at the hotel were excellent and much appreciated having it right there. I did not take breakfast buffet since the taxi cost so much!"

"Loved the breakfast that was very generous. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The staff was very kind. For a 3-day business trip in Geneva, this hotel right on the other side of the border in France, was a excellent choice and only 10 minutes from the airport. The visit of the Voltaire castle is a 12 minute walk from the hotel and is worth it."

"The Afterwork is a lovely hotel. It is in close driving distance to beaches, vineyards, and conveniences like shopping and groceries. It is in a more commercial / industrial surrounding, so no views, but for the price it delivers excellent value. Check in and check out were easy. The hotel room was spacious and well designed. The bed is comfortable with a firm mattress and nice bedding. The room was tidy and well cleaned daily during our stay. We stayed during summer and it was really hot. The air conditioning at this hotel works well and kept us cool while we slept. We did not opt for breakfast but did have dinner one evening. The food could improve. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would return to this property."
