"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Brosundet.
We came to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and everything was perfect.
The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, the hotel is full of charm, and the breakfast was excellent.
We also enjoyed a hot bath, which was absolutely exceptional and made the experience even more special.
Highly recommended, a truly memorable stay."
"Due to delayed flights, I arrived at 02:20 hours but was greeted by a warm and friendly lady on reception who completed the check-in in a friendly manner and offered a hot drink. I had booked a standard room ideally with a sea view. That was not possible as the hotel was full however she advised me to return at 1200 the following day and they would try and upgrade. My twin standard on the 5th floor was perfectly adequate but just looked straight across the street at windows opposite so not really possible to open the net curtains and just a rooftop view. The bed and bathroom was comfortable. I spoke to reception the next day and was upgraded to a superior room on the 6th floor overlooking the harbour and Aksla which was delightful! The climate control in the room was very effective and responsive. The room itself was spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast offered a wide selection and the hot food offerings were the same for the 4 mornings I was there. Staff clear away items very quickly once you have finished with them. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again. "
In the Heart of Brosundet! Fully Equipped 3 Bed Room Ap
6/10 Okay
"Firstly, the location is perfect, tucked in a side cul-de-sac near the marina and a very reasonable price. We parked our car in a nearby supermarket fairly cheap and on a nearby street for free between 7pm - 8am. But, the apartment itself? It needs a thorough renovation. Several Light switches didn’t work properly, many bulbs throughout were not working - the tv is also connected by multiple extension cables! The bedrooms are basic with standalone rails for clothes, no drawers, no wardrobes, no pictures or decorations on walls. Think basic student accommodation! Beds also weren’t made properly, sheets and duvet covers not just not ironed but positively creased, pillow cases missing. Kitchen was small but nice and had everything needed. Wi-Fi code didn’t work and a request for it was ignored. This property could be perfect if someone cleaned, decorated and managed it. It looks and feels like a student flat. But, most annoyingly, the pictures on the website are totally misleading. There is NO view of the marina or terrace. They seem to relate to a nearby spa, although we couldn’t see that. But Expedia should remove those pictures. We partly booked because of what looked like a balcony terrace looking out on the marina. Very disappointing to find the pictures are not from this apartment. Overall, great location and great price - but misleading location pictures and could be so much better inside. "
