「Located inside the labyrinth that was originally a fishing village built out over the water, but now has many home stays catering to tourists. We arrived on a Thursday and were the only people there for that night and were told it was quieter with the lack of Singaporean tourist due to border closure. By Friday night we noticed a lot more tourists in the area as well as at the home stay we were in. Xiang Holiday Home was perfect for us - at the furtherest extreme of the village with lovely ocean...

「They make effort to keep it clean and service was excellent. Unfortunately, May be due to low take up rate, towel have yellow moulds, spider seen under bed shelves. Room has no window for light could be reason for musty smell when check in initially. Overall, decent to stay.」

「酒店四周吉鋪居多,樓下得一間印度餐廳及一間中式按摩店, 出入要拉搵酒店巴士或CALL TAXI,酒店巴士係貴D同埋佢只得一架車,如果比其他房客租左就要等個幾鐘。TAXI要CALL先入黎, 個晚係KSL D 車唔肯車我地返酒店，佢地話太偏僻。酒店樓下間餐廳會劏旅客絕對不建議幫襯，午餐時段叫左3個餐加一罐可樂收左74馬幣, 晚飯係KSL食5個餐加甜品都係8X馬幣仲要好食又靚。酒店唔細心,BOOK左家庭房住5個人,比埋額外附加費但冇同我加床仲要只比2人既毛巾牙刷?房間地下仲要有薯片碎0_0, 想食早餐請早起,因為佢頹廢得黎只出一轉，遲去隨時野飲都冇」

「It was very luxurious, quiet and secluded like a small palace hidden behind a plantation. Super quiet and safe. Really relaxing quiet rest perfect for a getaway or staycation. I intend to stay again using the place as a base for a motorcycle tour.」

「We were skeptical about the stay as this is our first time staying at Somerset. It turned out everything was perfect! The location was very convenient and central, just 5 mins walk to Legoland and the medirini mall. We had the 2 room unit and it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was such an enjoyable stay! 」

「The unit is clean and huge. But bath tub no hot water, only cold water. There were some housefly trap inside the unit, cannot get rid of them, coz openning the glass door and window will bring in more flies. The neighbour unit had bbq at the evening on our 2nd night, very smoky and oily. But smell good.」

「The finishing of the interior is very rough. No amenities at all despite the name hotel may connotate. I don't think the drain pipes have p-traps so there's a slight smell when inside the shower, which is nothing but a 3 ft wide area of the room separated by a sliding glass divider. Not worth what you paid through Expedia. It's twice what's posted on their signs.」
