Great option for budget travellers
My hub and I were happy to stay at the Timhotel. Righ next to the train station of Montpartnasse, you may easily get access to every place within the city. The hotel staff at nice and helpful. They were very responsive to the communication prior to our trip or the request.

2-star hotel
This is definitely not a 4-star hotel. The room is small and out-dated even by Paris standard. The elevator makes you feel like airplane landing. The staff is not very professional. No in-room safe. You get what you pay for and don't be fooled by its 4-star rating.

Great location but poor hotel
We had booked and prepaid via Hotels.com for 2 superior double rooms (one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds). Reception tried to charge us again for these rooms. We were initially given 2 double bedrooms. When we pointed out that one should be a twin, we were told that that was not what we had booked. Fortunately we had printed out the Hotels.com documentation which showed that we had indeed booked a twin. We were then given one accessible room with no window in which the air conditioning failed - reception suggested we leave the door open all night (in an external courtyard) as there were no alternative rooms available. The other room (a comfort rather than the superior double we had booked) had an ant infestation. The following day we were given two new rooms - the air conditioning did not work in one of these. 3 unacceptable rooms out of 4 seems like more than a coincidence. The rooms all looked a bit tired and a grubby towel lay on the courtyard doorway for a couple of days adding to the overall feeling of neglect.

chambre 10 m2 avec douche, wc, lavabo impossible de bouger dans la salle de bain, il y avait pas 1 m2 pour bouger, la douche a l ancienne avec porte casse et toute petite je pouvais pas me tourner tellement elle était petite les murs de la chambre avec des taches partout, je me déplace beaucoup je n ai jamais vu une chambre dans état comme ça c est même pas au niveau d un formule1

Great Location
Location of this hotel is excellent. Close to good restaurants, cafes, shops and the all important metro. Rooms have been recently refurnished. Beds are comfortable and its quiet. Some of the front desk people can be little surly at times and this is the only area where I find fault. Housekeeping from some members of staff is just okay. I've stayed here more than once because of the district.

Cómoda opción en barrio Montparnasse
Excelente opción para estancia en la ciudad. El.precio no es excesivamente alto y proporciona un buen lugar de descanso. Auqnue mi habitación era muy pequeña la cama y el baño eran cómodos. Adicionalmente había cafetera y un pequeño escritorio. La ubicación muy bien con 2 estaciones de metro cerca y muchas opciones de restaurante en la misma calle.

Das Hotel hatte eine sehr gute Lage, das Frühstück war sehr gut. Leider hatte das sehr freundliche Personal keine korrekten Informationen über die Schließungszeiten einiger Metro-Linien. Außerdem mussten wir eine Stunde lang auf die Bereitstellung der Zimmer warten.

Great location. Small rooms but I managed to switch to a bigger room. Receptionist Murad was extremely nice and helpful. I would stay again here…if I get the same room:)
