The code they provided to enter the apartment stopped working when I returned from a long night in Paris at 1 am. Unfortunately, ther was no one. I could reach at that time from the renting company. My only option was to send an email that was going to be read at 7-8 am when the ofgice opened. Exhausted, irate and discouraged, I had to search for an available hotel room in the neighborhood. Took me over an hour to find one available and I had to pay premium for that one night. In the morning, a support agent replied to my email, apologized, but all he did was to supply me with a new code enabling me to finally enter the room. He said he will notify his manager to get back to me. I made it clear that the situation is unacceptable and at the least they should reimburse me for the one night I had to spend at a different hotel. In my opinion they shoul also cancel the charges for the nigh I could not sleep in the room.
