Paris accommodation is expensive. No it's not the Ritz but, our hotel and room were great. Location is excellent! Acouple in our 60's we were travelling by train and access to metro etc was really easy. We spent more time walking though as plenty of really good bars and restaurants etc were so close. No, it's not right in the heart of the tourist district, it's way better! Better pricing, more local Parisian vibe and an easy commute to the key attractions.
The room was spacious and really comfortable. All we needed. Would totally stay again.
Staff were great. Ask very friendly and helpful. Thanks guys!! Totally recommend.
The hotel is basic but has what one needs. It is clean and comfortable. Convenient location for metro and Gare de Lyon. Would recommend adding decaf coffee to breakfast possibilities and soap in shower. The staff was excellent, very responsive throughout to all of our questions.
+ : Personnel were very kind and helpful. Great location.
- : Warm, humid and dirty rooms although newly renovated. You could hear everyone out in the hallway, in the neighboring rooms and out on the street.
This is a extra extra small hotel, room, bathroom, everything small and uncomfortable. But wait to see the elevator, this is a one fit person only elevator, never seen anything like this. Staff not particularly friendly and helpful (except one new guy last day) they dont speak any other language than French, I tried several without success.
Location is great, close to Bastille and at walking distance from Notre Dame.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. So dirty and unhygienic- stains on the sheets, no pillowcases and BUGS. There was a bug infestation in our room, and they were crawling over our bed. I got stung by one (not a mosquito) and woke up with a very swollen eye - the insects are a health and safety hazard. They were on the hallway walls too, clinging to the mold. The fridge in our room didn’t work. The lift is also ridiculously small. They only provide one keycard for the room.
That being said, the reception staff was very lovely and helpful, but the uncleanliness of the rooms would make me never return.
Thank you for making our Paris vacation wondweful!
Perfect hotel! Not only was it very clean (every day the staff cleaned our room!), but I always felt safe and comfortable. The staff was very good. They were attentive, kind and always helpful. I would be happy to stay there for every visit to Paris.
I like to give an honest review, and will give praise where I can but unfortunately this hotel lives well below expectations. Firstly, after booking (via Expedia), we needed a late arrival. Their listing says to contact them for arrivals after 7pm. So I sent a message via Expedia. No response. I then sent them an email. No response. Over the 7 days leading up to our stay I sent another 4 messages and 4 emails. I also asked Expedia for help. They managed to phone and couldn’t communicate as the person spoke only French. With an arrival at 23:15 we were worried we’d not get in. Thankfully on arrival (after the person on the desk made a phone call as he seemed confused), we were at least able to check-in.
The room (a basic double) was certainly basic. We noticed several issues. First we had to go and ask for a 2nd towel as only one bath towel was provided. The bathroom was reasonable and looked like it’s been recently tiled. However the shower head was loose and the air vent filthy. In the room the smoke alarm was missing, there was a phone that wasn’t even wired, there were holes in the curtain, and the TV was awkwardly placed so you could easily bang yourself on it in the limited space.
Whilst its location was convenient, unfortunately the stress of the hotel not even communicating with our messages to confirm we could arrive late was not ideal. If you stay here, keep your expectations low.
This was like a mom n pop place. When I went there the place was not clean and no toilet paper. I was locked out of the hotel in the morning. More like a hostel instead of a hotel
Extremely dirty interior - not many light fixtures working and there was a power outage and loud alarm sound the last day of the stay, as well as screaming child in another room and general chatter from the main floor lobby at all hours.
Owner is a scammer. It’s not clean at all. They don’t even change the sheets between stays. It was disgusting and the owner is very disrespectful and rude towards customers. Hotels.com weren't any help either. They still made us pay the entire rate even though we left as the room was gross
What a complete disaster! The room was horrible. We checked in as a couple. There was 1 cup. 1 towel. The owner flipped out because I asked for another towel. No safe in the room. The owner grabbed the key to our room out of my boyfriend’s hand. I would NEVER stay there. Especially if you are a single woman. When we first arrived the owner acted like he did not understand English. We felt unsafe and nervous leaving our things in the room. Horrible!!!!

Arrived during the heatwave. Room had no AC and a broken fan. Asked for some tap water in the morning, and was ignored. Room was small, but as expected, and fine for one night. Sheets and towels were of dubious cleanliness. Lift is very small, not good if you're claustrophobic or travelling with a lot of bags.

Matelas trop dur
Mais très calme, température agréable, personnel aimable
Sympa pour une nuit
