I really enjoyed my stay – all I needed was a clean small room to drop my stuff and sleep in after spending the day roaming Paris and this was perfect. On top of that, the service was excellent: friendly, English speaking and more than willing to humour my inept French! I will return next time. It is also very well situated close to Belleville and Menilmpntant.
Fabulous location to transport systems to all toursit locations.
Friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms , with super comfy beds and wonderfully white fluffy towels.
Great value highly recommended.
Good location close to bars, restaurants and Pere Lachaise. Electronic gate so you feel safe.
Room is very small but well equipped and immaculate. Staff friendly.
The walls are very thin and there is no air con so you have to leave windows open at night. So if you have noisy neighbours (as we did) then don’t expect to get much sleep.
This property is way over rated online. The room is tiny and way smaller than presented in the photos on Expedia. The bathroom is so small it is almost unusable. And the bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on - it has collapsed into the middle and should have been replaced long ago.
Pros: comfortable beds, cute safe and private courtyard behind a locked gate, walkable metro access, street market on Tuesday, secure entry, helpful front desk. Has a small kitchenette and refrigerator. Fans are provided and helped move air.
Cons: very small room, even smaller bathroom and extremely small elevated shower making it difficult to use for any larger person.
Luggage storage is available but in the open in the front office.
Area becomes more lively and enjoyable at night. During the day it felt a little less welcoming.
We found extra bathrooms and showers located in the courtyard.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Not the best part of town, and lots of building code violations causing me to massively stub my toes in THREE spots in my own apartnment, also the stairs are not effectively supported.
This is a very clean, well located, comfortable hotel. It is very quiet and all things needed are provided. We did not partake in the breakfast as local cafes and patisseries were just steps away. In room coffee and tea wereprovided. Staff were lovely and accommodating. My husband speaks fluent French but the staff did speak English for me. Metro stations are very close by. Access to Père Lachaise cemetery is about a 5 minute walk. Edith Piaf’s home is also near.
The rooms are very small. A large comfortable bed, kitchenette and washroom small table and folding chairs were very well laid out and were efficiently arranged but it is tiny…little room for luggage (under the bed was too small for empty cases) so we made them into a second bed side table, a station to lay our clothes for the next day etc. it worked out well.
We loved our little place while staying a week in Paris.
