This is a delightful hotel with elegant furnishings and the most wonderful staff. It is centrally located on the Left Bank in Saint Germain des Pre near the oldest church in Paris, wonderful restaurants, historic cafes, metro stops, and interesting shops. I was very happy with my stay here. I would only caution that there are a few steps at the entrance and on the floors between elevator and room so not the best choice if one needs a flat walking surface throughout.

We had an amazing stay. This adorable hotel is very near the heart of Saint Germain in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Very convenient to Métro and RER. Beautiful decor, most of all amazing staff that make you feel like family. It’s cozy and romantic and so Parisian. We loved our stay and look forward to returning.

We returned to Saint-Germain-des-pres because the location is quiet and central to seeing Paris. We stay at Hotel Academia because when we checked out the year earlier the front desk lady was very helpful and friendly. This remained true when we returned, she was very helpful. The location is excellent, close to a subway, famous coffee shops, restaurants - such as Saint Pearl and an Italian one next store. Hotel is clean, well kept and staff work hard to make your stay good. As well, it is air conditioned which was essential in the heat. They had a problem and worked hard to fix it and help their clients. I would return

The staff was exceptionally helpful with making our stay in Paris wonderful. The shower has nice hot water and the AC was fully operational; most needed due to the extreme heat this year of July 2026. The only negative is the size of the room is incredibly small and everything is close together. So if you need space this is not the stop for you. Otherwise this was a nice hotel in a safe area that was very clean and walking distance from some of the iconic sites in Paris.

Charming hotel in a great St. Germain location. Every staff member was friendly and very helpful. Patricia at the front desk was great! Deluxe room on 5th floor was bright, spacious and well appointed. Great mix of historic and modern convenience. Would definitely stay here again.
