The hotel is in a terrific location. It is within walking distance of the Louvre and other major attractions, literally across the street from a historic church, and has a multitude of restaurants nearby.
The hotel staff is very pleasant and responsive.
My room had a comfortable bed, a desk with two chairs, and a wardrobe. Unfortunately, the room was so compact that I had no room for my suitcase. Really, every cubic inch of space was accounted for. Example: To sit at the desk, I had to move one of the chairs, but then I couldn't open the wardrobe.
The bathroom was functional but, again, so compact that there was no room to hang a toilet paper roll. Really, it was sitting on the shelf behind the toilet. The shower may have been built for a skinny 10-year-old; I couldn't turn around in it without pushing the shower handle to the "off" position.
The walls are paper-thin; I could hear everything going on in another room, so if you have noisy neighbors who stay up late, bring earplugs.
Still, for the price, the location, the staff, and the overall cleanliness and functionality made up for it.
