The hotel was basic in facilities but it was clean and the owners friendly. It is close to the beach so a swim before breakfast is a must. 10 minute walk to the historical part of Paraty where there are many good restaurants and tasteful shops.

Cute yet overpriced.

The reception staff were lovely. The breakfast was very basic and we didn’t have high expectations. Obviously it was way out of price during carnival (probably double of what it’s worth) but we were grateful for having been able to book 3 nights at last minute after a cancellation they had. The aircon worked well, the shower had low pressure but worked fine. The room is relatively small and had no tables nor surfaces, so we had to place our things on the floor. The balcony was spacious. What bothered me a lot was all the noise mad by the cleaning staff early morning including music being played so you better be an early riser otherwise you’ll be awaken by the cleaning staff cleaning a room not far from you. The location is great, close to the sea, close to historic centre. TV was small but it worked well. Overall it’s cute, just overpriced.

Good for your money

It was fine for the $50 cad/night. Clean. The staff was friendly, there was a breakfast. Location was good and central. It is a noisy building that was the only drawback

I received a WhatsApp message from the property on the day of my arrival, which has conveniently been deleted, stating that the property didn't have a room available. I didn't see the message until I arrived at the property, but it had asked me to go to another property that cost less, had a less ideal location, and lower reviews. At arrival, they then put my friend and I in a room with one bed that was tiny, *absolutely disgusting*, and was not in the main building. The manager, without prompting, offered to refund this night, which I politely accepted. The next day, we got moved to the correct room, but it did not have any hot water for a shower, so we got moved AGAIN, to another lower quality room without a balcony. One out of the two beds was rock hard so my friend and I ended up having to share a bed. Several days after my stay no refund was issued so I reached out to Hotels.com and the property denied the refund and deleted their WhatsApp message. I've never left a bad review or complained to any service provider before, but this was a terrible experience.

No geral foi tudo bem. Pousada limpa, funcionários educados e solícitos. O café da manhã é bem básico, esperava mais. A localização é perfeita, dá pra fazer tudo a pé. Não tem estacionamento mas conseguimos estacionar na rua da pousada, que é bem tranquila. Reservamos passeio de barco também através deles e foi ótimo.

Pousada boa mas não me senti segura!

A estadia foi razoável. A pousada é simples, porém limpa e confortável. No entanto, tivemos um problema sério: em duas noites consecutivas, alguém bateu na porta do nosso quarto por volta das 22h, sem se identificar, mesmo após perguntarmos quem era. No segundo episódio, minha companheira viu o recepcionista noturno descendo pela varanda logo após a batida, o que nos deixou desconfiadas. Reportamos o ocorrido ao recepcionista da manhã, Peterson, que afirmou nunca ter havido incidentes semelhantes e garantiu que o funcionário da noite era de confiança. Curiosamente, após essa conversa, o episódio não se repetiu. Como duas mulheres hospedadas sozinhas na parte superior da pousada, onde não havia outros hóspedes, nos sentimos inseguras e desconfortáveis. Por esse motivo, não recomendamos a hospedagem.

POUSADA DA MARÉ

Achei o quarto muito apertado, por conta de uma cama de solteiro colocada, juntamente com uma de casal, num quarto que mau tinha espaço para a de casal. Essa distribuição do mobiliário, inviabilizou o uso do varão destinado aos cabides. O chuveiro jogava a água para a parede, o que dificultava um pouco o banho. O quarto de número 5, que foi o que fiquei, não foi arrumado e limpo do segundo para o terceiro dia de estadia. Não haviam mesas e cadeiras suficientes no restaurante, para que todos os hóspedes, pudessem tomar o café da manhã num mesmo horário. A localização da pousada é excelente e os funcionários, são muito atenciosos e dispostos a ajudar. Minha nota geral para a pousada é um 7 e sim, voltaria, em virtude do custo benefício.
