"Perfect resort location on Moorea- the staff was amazing and well exceeded all of our expectations. Arming and Lany at the desk assisted us expertly with every request from laundry to excursions, food, rental cars and everything we could imagine! Le Cooks was such a phenomenal pleasure we ate there twice which is rare for us and the Tahitian show was just spectacular. "Great location Can’t walk to it uphill with luggage but can go downhill to the airport if you can manage ten stairs. Bed is really stiff but that’s the islands."

"We were upgraded to a superior hot tub room in building 0 which was one of the recently renovated rooms. Big, bright, comfortable with a lovely view of the black beach. Lovely to fall asleep listening to the crashing waves. The property has great potential with its location. However, it is one of the older resorts on Tahiti and is showing its age. The facilities are in need of a refresh for sure. That being said, it was a nice place to spend a couple of days before heading to Moorea. If you are looking for a high end 5 star experience, stay at the Hilton or Intercontinental. If you are looking for a decent place to comfortably spend a couple of days and experience a beautiful black sand beach, you’ll be happy here."

"What a great place to stay. The property is right downtown, an easy walk to the cruise terminal and located in the middle of the restaurant district. The staff were very helpful and friendly."

"Important: if using Google Maps, make sure to turn right immediately after the Vini Vini in the commercial area. The old location leads to the maintenance area and no way to enter the lobby. A beautiful location with the best view of the sunset but the hotel needs some TLC. The rooms themselves are clean and pleasant, but the elevators and stairwells are very dirty. The entrance is beautiful but lacking ambiance (furniture, decor, music, employees). The lagoon area is nice but needs some landscaping. Beach access is nice. Restaurant on the beach is nice. Signage also needs updating. Staff were friendly but still in training. I think the hotel should have delayed it's reopening for another month or two, really cleaned up the place and had a soft opening for family and friends at discounted rates so the hotel could figure things out. Not sure why this stood out as well, but could also benefit from having secondary and tertiary logos (I think it's because the bar soap was wrapped in plastic wrap with the really generic text logo and it made it feel really cheap)"
