Location is convenient. You can walk to most places. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel rooms are very basic. No dresser for clothes or any hangers. Couldn't shut off night lights above head of bed. But, overall it's good and would stay here again.

The hotel is in an ideal location across from the Papeete harbor and close to many restaurants. There is breakfast but many options all around particularly the Urban cafe. The bed was very comfortable. My room and bathroom were small but not too small. Some traffic noise but good seals on windows. Very quiet air conditioning. Small safe and fridge. The room had bottled water though tap water is drinkable and you can fill a water bottle on some of the floors and in the lobby. Staff is very nice. I was able to leave my luggage for 3 days before my stay. There are laundry facilities. Great stay.

Adorable, newly decorated hotel. Spent one night here between flight and ferry to neighboring island. Would happily stay multiple nights. Ferry terminal is a 5 minute walk away, as is the expansive public market. We did not pony up for the continental breakfast so cannot comment on that. Room is comfortable and the bathroom has a nice walk in shower. Staff was excellent! Took advantage of the washer and dryer on the floor as well. Some noise travels easily in the hallways, I think because of the laminate floors, but this was a non factor for us. Good value! We highly recommend!

The room was clean .Sheets were crisp and comfortable. PILLOWS WERE GOOD. Bathroom was a bit small ,location great especially if you are catching the ferry to Bora Bora ,restaurants and the markets plus the food trucks within walking distance.

Very helpful staff. Excellent location. Our flight did not leave until midnight and they accommodated with a late checkout. We would stay here again and recommend the Maitai Express to family and friends. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but there is a good place for breakfast right next to the hotel.
