Beautiful view from our 15th floor condo! We have never stayed here before, so i had no idea that so many everyday things would not be included. Salt and pepper, dish soap, little things... The condo itself was pretty great though.

Will not come back

Not impressed with the room we stayed in. Condo had mold on the shower head and ac vent. Dishes were filthy and did not have any scrub rags to wash dishes.

My daughters and I spent the weekend here and we absolutely loved it. The condo was spacious and I loved the décor. They only have the two elevators which can prove for a little bit of a wait, but it was well worth the experience.

Where's the staff?

This is not my first experience at a timeshare/resort, but this is the first time I was not able to do a towel exchange after 3 days, we only receive 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, the condo obviously hadn't been completely cleaned as there were items we didn't bring in the rooms. We had to use the public access to the beach because we weren't given the gate code and the staff wasn't there most of our stay. My home resort gives us enough laundry and dish detergent to wash at least twice before we have to purchase our own...that was not the case here.

Disappointing and waste of money for what I paid.

When I reserve the room I was told I would get two double beds and a king or queen bedroom. When I got there management said didn't have double beds. The sofa was old and sunk down in middle and the sofa bed was horrible to sleep on. The pictures upon making reservations were not the ones at the Sterling Reef or otherwise not their bedrooms so I was very upset and really disappointed for what we had to pay. My son and father took turns sleeping on the couch and u could feel bars of the sofa bed when laying down. Didn't sleep well at all and made them sore. Kitchen was not equipped enough with utensils nor pot holders and furniture needed to be updated. Living room chairs were dirty put down sheets to sit on them. Kitchen outlet didn't work. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. House cleaning could have done a better job. Counters weren't clean and wood bed was very dusty and the bed made noise getting on and off of it and when u turn over We were not pleased at all with the reservations or the condo. We will not be using VRBO EXPEDIA OR HOMEAWAY AGAIN. The view was amazing of the ocean.

Great stay!

First time staying at sterling reef wasn't sure what to expect, we stayed in 1106. But turned out really great!! The elevator wait is longer than expected but no big deal!! Plan on staying again!!

Overall very nice!

Rented a Two Bed/ Two Bath condo from Expedia. The condo itself was extremely comfortable! The Kitchen had silverware, dishes, dishwasher, etc. It had a washer and dryer which was very nice. There were a few problems. One of the doors to the balcony would not open and we complained, no one ever came to fix it. We also asked the front desk for more towels and were told no, and also some of the chairs in our hotel were broken. There's only 2 elevators so you'll have a long wait at times. There is no hot tub and the pool is not wide. The parking garage is big but the spaces are really close together, making it almost impossible to pull in/ back into a parking space. You need to be a really skilled driver to park beside someone in that garage. The front desk is a separate office in another section of the hotel and it closes really early. So there's no one there later in the day. I have been to other hotels where the front desk will immediately help without hesitation and there's someone there 24/7. Don't get me wrong, the condo is really nice! It had modern styling and was large enough for all of us. But the few problems with this place do get in the way of enjoying your vacation.

Close to the beach

This is a nice hotel; not well kept. The room was dirty; furniture was old and horrible looking. Floors were not clean. The unit was nice; the owner is not keeping his or her unit up to standards. I was so disappointed in the furnishings. The couch had holes in it. Crumbs were all over the floors; we did not see any bugs, however! They did come and clean the floors again! They only had one roll of tissue paper in each bathroom. We were a group of six women! We paid too much money for that kind of service.

GREAT beachfront hotel with great location!!

Best Bring your own Bedding!!!

If not for the location this stay would have been nothing to write home about. Location, location, location keeps this from being a worse rating. Cleanliness was non existent! Needs some work to broken and damaged interior.

You can hear the ocean waves

The condo is very comfortable. Most of all, the condo complex sits on the beach and you can hear the ocean waves from the balcony. Absolutely beautiful and so peaceful! I was disappointed in the $178.00 property fee, particularly since I had to take time out of vacacation to take out the trash and wash towels for the family. Plus, the fee was not disclosed until after I had paid for the reservation. Even so, being right on the beach was a blessing.

Nice Hotel close to the beach. Enjoyed the stay.

Have stayed at Sterling Reef several times in the past. This years stay we stayed in room 105. This room was not near as nice as the previous ones. It needs a lot of work done on it. Could not stand to be in the room when the dryer was running it was squealed so loud. Air conditioner tore up while we was there also. The shower drain was stopped up and the cleaner was still in the bottom of the tub causing my pregnant wife to slip and almost fall.

Upon arrival, elevator was down. Only 2 in the building to service 18 floors. Outdated elevators. Customer service attendant caught lying to another staff member about condo readiness, so there was integrity issues. Appliances dated. Washer and dryer non functional. Kitchen supplies cheap and dated. Beds and mattresses were worn out. No linens for the pull out couch. No towel or linen service. Basically, the owners could look to spend 20K to update the unit and make it really nice again. As it stands, your paying for a nice view and nothing else.

Nice hotel, close to the beach.

The hotel was very nice and was on the beach. We had one of the PH rooms which included 3 bedrooms and 3 baths (large master and two reasonably sized rooms).

Time for updates...

It was ok at the most. The location is great and the condo was nice but... The bathrooms and the kitchen badly need updating. TV and cable operating instructions are wrong and not updated, so it was confusing. Outdated audiovisual equipment... Anybody still uses VHS?... You get 4 remotes in the box, wrong instructions... - but then you still have your brain, right?... A small service request I placed was ignored. The condos don't get serviced until you leave, so get your own toilet paper, kitchen towels, trash bags, etc. Kitchen utensils seem largely a compilation of what the guests though was missing, bought it, and left behind. I should have contributed with a decent set of small knives. The patio furniture is old and simply depressing. But the internet worked well :), so we made it. In all, I was hoping for better...:(
