The hotel is good but service is extremely terrible. I had atleast 3 instance where the service was bad. 1. Room allotment - I had to leave to freshen up in friends room because they weren't able to assign me any rooms. My friend got the room just 30 minutes before me but they denied providing any rooms even though it was vacated. The reason, we have not received the cleaned linen to get your room ready. 2. I ordered tea with bread butter in the evening but they only sent the tea and bread with no butter. I had call at least 5 times to get the butter by then the bread was already cold. 3. I order some food and it took atleast a few calls for them to get the correct order and deliver it. Hotel not recommended.

My wife and I chose this hotel for a 6-night stay while on holiday primarily due to location - within walking distance to Fontainhas (Latin quarter) and key areas of Panjim. But in most other respects, Novotel Panjim was disappointing. Among other things, the hotel bungled our airport pickup at night; room service standards were appalling; and asking for any local info or advice from staff was a waste of time - (with one exception) they were clueless! This is probably due to poor staff training and lack of basic operational systems, but it's not acceptable for an Accor Hotel! This hotel is way below usual Accor/Novotel standards. Caution: Hotel also houses a casino and the lobby area sometimes has drunk and aggressive men who stagger out of the casino shouting. The lobby is often full of men who are sitting around. This hotel is NOT suitable for any solo female traveller or even a group of women. We would not stay here again!

Das Zimmer war (für indische Verhältnisse) super! Hatte in Indien noch nie so ein sauberes und schönes Zimmer. Es war im 6. Stock und sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war sehr gut (zum Glück viele indische Gerichte, aber auch anderes) und das Personal war sehr gut ausgebildet, hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und sehr nett. Ich erinnere mich leider nur an die Namen der außergewöhnlich freundlichen Damen Gunjan und Baby - aber auch alle anderen war top! Die Lage des Hotels ist auch perfekt, wenn man das Stadtviertel Fontainhas zu Fuß erkunden möchte - nur über eine Brücke und schon ist man da.
