"Hotel has probably seen it’s day. Photo of outdoor pool shown on Expedias website was the draw to stay there. Pool is closed! FALSE ADVERTISING! General staff was very helpful and tried hard to help the guests but we were shocked to wake up to a woman screaming at the top of her lungs berating some poor fellow. "The room was overpriced for what we received, with a nightly rate comparable to a luxury apartment in Capri. We did not feel welcome at check-in; the young lady simply stared when we approached and only gave us one key while taking two passports and checking in two people. As we walked past staff, our acknowledgments were met with scowls. The room was not well-maintained, with a lot of dust in certain areas and a bathroom in need of attention. The worst part was the shower drain, which would back up, leaving us standing in water throughout the shower. The air conditioner did not effectively cool the room. On a positive note, the location was convenient, being close to Pizzeria da Michele and Salerno train station. The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet, which was a plus. At check-out, the morning receptionist was warm and kind, but she was the only welcoming person we encountered. Breakfast was included and had essentials like coffee, toast, and water."

"Very good breakfast buffet that can be eaten on covered outdoor terrace with beautiful view. Clean property. Several rooms (showers, furniture) and room corridors (unpainted damaged walls) need some maintenance and basic renovation to meet "4-star" standards. Definitely take room with Sea-View balcony, which adds significant value to stay. Rooms with view of city (or "partial view of water) not appealing."

"Very spacious and clean rooms. Also spacious bathrooms. Rooms facing the sea have excellent sea view from the large balcony. Buffet breakfast is nice. About 10 minutes walk from the central train station and also 10 mins walk to the ferry terminal where you can get tickets and board boats to various sightseeing ports of Amalfi, Positano, Capri, Etc. Bus stands also nearby within few minutes walking. Lots of eateries and stores in 5 minutes walk."

"Lovely hotel with fantastic staff and a gorgeous pool area, the photos don't do it justice. The restaurant was excellent and so scenic. One fault was on facilities, the hotel was advertised as beachfront with private sunbeds and parasols which is why we chose it, but that area was under construction when we arrived. With no natural shade on the beach we couldn't use it as planned. Rooms are also quite small, but well equipped and worth it for the view"
