「The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. However, our shower was clogged and was never repaired during our stay. Maintenance never came to address the issue, so we had to use a friend’s room to shower before we could continue with our day.」

「This is a small and unique property, with a very welcoming staff. It is a "throw back" to the times when hotels were a special place and not a chain commodity. The rooms were large and well appointed. The hotel is close to the Vieux Carre, but far enough away from the madness of Bourbon Street. Our room had the best hotel shower ever - which says a lot about the quality of the property in general. I would not hesitiate to stay there again.」

「The reason it’s priced low is because of the condition of the hotel. The staff were very nice, WiFi was spotty but that’s in most hotels and if your in NOLA you are not in the hotel much anyways besides to sleep so this provided exactly that. I traveled solo and had no issues. Do not stay here if you are expecting luxury.」

「The hotel is an older hotel and was very clean for its age. The pool area is amazing. love the swim up bar. the hotel is in a very good location. walking distance to some very nice eateries and to a great roof top bar. CON: only one i am afraid of cats and there seems to be a house cat that frequents the pool area this made me a bit uncomfortable.」

「Great property, rooms very comfortable and well designed . Liked having the shower separate from the toilet area. The location of the hotel was great! Only things to improve: quality of the bathroom towels and quality of the toilet paper. Would have also appreciated having a shower cap as an amenity in the bathroom.」
