「This was just what I needed. The hotel was exceptionally clean and peaceful, providing a nice break from the trail. The food was excellent and the staff were outstanding. When I checked out I forgot my wallet in my room. The proprietor literally ran up the hill to return it to me. I highly recommend this place.」

「The hotel, whilst it looks fine from the entrance, is tired and in need of significant investment. The location is fantastic. Best part. We had a superior room with a fabulous direct view of Monte Bianco. Bathroom is old, dirty pointing around the bath, fittings at least 20 years old, broken dirty fan, etc. And they don’t make the beds properly-no duvet cover-just a duvet sandwiched between two sheets which turns into a twisted mess by morning. Breakfast was ordinary-lots of pastries, limited...

「Beautiful place. Absolutely gorgeous interiors and the scenery is breathtaking too. The food and service at the restaurant are also very good. My only complaint was not having an air conditioner in the room as it got very hot when we were there. Apparently some rooms do have A/C but the hotel was fully booked so they could not transfer us to another room. However, the staff did everything that they can to make us comfortable. They gave us not one but two fans to use in the room which helped...
