"The hostess was gracious, charming and accommodating. The supper and tour of the winery facilities were personable, enjoyable and welcoming. The breakfast included plenty of fresh foods, fruit and pastries.The pool was very clean. The view from the pool and the room was bucolic. The beaches nearby around Torre Salsa were the most spectacular ones we visited in all of Sicily. Highly recommended overall."

"Our stay at the Mangia's Torre del Barone Resort was an absolute delight and a genuinely pleasant surprise. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by every aspect of the hotel, and we will certainly be back again. A special thank you must go to Paulo, who looked after us at the pool restaurant with such wonderful service. The facilities were equally impressive. We particularly loved the two separate beach accesses—one private, adults-only area for quiet relaxation and another perfect for families with children. The on-site spa was also incredible, featuring a variety of experiential areas and a massage staff who were excellent at their craft. In short, the entire resort was a wonderful surprise. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can't wait to return."

"My family and I stayed for a week at Le Zarafe. The owners were all very friendly. The rooms were all of a good size, even the singles had double beds, and were cleaned every day. There was a good variety of toiletries and a non-slip mat in the shower which I appreciated. Breakfast was very generous and the menu varied each day. The only drawback for me, as an older visitor, was the swimming pool did not have a safety rail to assist getting in and out, but the pool area was very clean and there were plenty of loungers and parasols, there was also a shaded area with tables and chairs to sit in the evening or when it was too hot."

"This is a beautiful oasis in the countryside, near Selinunte and beaches. It was such a great place to escape the heat, the stress of driving around Sicily using google maps, and traveling in general. Masseria del Carboj has modern amenities, nice aesthetics, a beautiful pool in the middle of vineyard, and feels like you're in Napa valley. The restaurant (Racina) at the hotel is absolutely amazing, like Michelin star level food, so definitely eat here when you stay. "
