"The hotel itself was great, but we had a hiccup with the management as they insisted that we pay for the room after we showed them the receipt that we already paid with Expedia. As soon as we got Expedia involved, they reimbursed us, but it was frustrating to deal with while tired from traveling. Other than that, the hotel itself was lovely with hot water in the shower a lovely breakfast and convenient location."

"The best part was how attentive and helpful the staff was. I had a foot sprain and they helped with crepe bandage, ice, medication. Getting their support was a quick phone call away. The view was exceptional. We had a very relaxing stay. We are loyal to the Sonesta chain as well."

"I’m a firm believer that if you advertise bathtubs, you need to have the availability to use the bathtub. I stayed in three rooms over three days, and not one of them had a stopper for the bathtub. "We had originally booked for one night but the place was so stunning that we stayed for two. It truly is beautiful and you can watch the sunset over the lake. The staff were also very good at accomodating our children for lunch and dinner as the can be fussy! Included is also a tour of the Islands and our guide answered so many of our questions. The only reason why I have not given 5 stars is because there was no hot water in our room. It would also have been nice at dinner to have been offered some drinks. We brought our own water from the room in the end"
