It was bad ,i came to the property fro air port and the gares was closed i try to call them didnt pick up the fone.....even i had reservation for our room will never go there again

Kambarys , kad ir senas , bet neblogas patogus.Tik truputi atsilupe viskas. Baseine visiška senove , persirengime atsilupe viskas.Į baseina daug vilčių ne teikite. Viskas gerai , ypač vieta . Labai faina ramybė.Truputeli kosmetinio remonto reikėtu.

Nostalgic value of soviet modernism

This hotel is a time machine and ode to modernism. Only those appreciating history and nostalgic value of soviet "a e s t h e t i c s" will be able to appreciate Auska hotel. Located 80 meters from the sea and in a beautiful forest this hotel is a gem for history explorers. Large rooms, high ceilings, friendly staff - worth to experience at least one night. Don't forget to visit a swimming pool with a heated sea water!

Daily housekeeping? Our room wasn't clean for 3 days, even though we request the cleaning. There is now dinner at the restaurant. Property needs renovation. Clogged sink in the bathroom was fixed the next day. Hotel staff told us to use bathtub instead. Breakfast was good. I like location of the hotel (few steps to the beach and in the park).

Querky but comfortable hotel

angular old Russian style building, but very well furnished inside. Breakfast a bit strange, but evening restaurant has small but excellent menu, however only printed in Lithuanian or Russian. Instructions and signing could be better. However, would definitely stay again.

A blast from the past right on the beach

Staying at Vila Auska is an interesting experience. It's a look at a soviet past, at opulence and grandeur and huge rooms. It's aging a bit now especially on the outside. The setting is extremely peaceful, in the middle of a park. A car is handy as it's quite cut off. We stayed in the main building and our room was huge. The bathroom was newly refurbished and equipped with everything. The "jetted bath" was huge, but, strangely, had no jets... The layout of certain things was perhaps a bit strange, but nothing to complain about, eg, the shower is positioned in such a way that you can't help spilling water everywhere over the side of the bath (the shower is in the bath). And right next to the bath is a power socket, which we thought was perhaps unsafe. Both bathroom and room were very clean. The room itself had plenty of storage and the bed was comfortable. The indoor pool was very pleasant and warm. The beach is barely 100m away and it goes on for a long way. Walking to the pier is certainly an option, and is closer than if you try to walk to the town from the entrance of the hotel. Wifi was good. Breakfast was perhaps not quite what we're used to, but I liked the pancakes. We only stayed for one night and on the whole, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, although it may not be to everyone's taste.
