Their hospitality—toward both humans and dogs—is truly unmatched. Every morning we were treated to a delicious, thoughtfully prepared breakfast that made each day feel special. We stayed over Christmas, and the hosts went above and beyond by serving a beautiful Christmas dinner for all the guests. It created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and made the holiday feel extra special. The kindness, care, and attention to detail throughout our stay were exceptional. This was a PHENOMENAL experience. Not only are the facilities exceptional, but the owners, and all of the staff members and friends are genuinely nice people. I spent three evenings there, and brought my dog. I would go back again, without hesitation. On top of that, the price point was more than fair. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We had a room in the annex with a private bath. The property was beautiful. Our room was very quiet and comfortable with access to a full kitchen. We loved the idyllic setting with lovely horses and dogs to add to the ambience! The staff were very kind and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. Everything about the experience was positive. Our daughter recommended this property to us and we have now recommended it to another daughter. We hope to be able to visit this lovely place again.

Great hot breakfast with breakfast casserole etc. staff helped me with EV charging in town. Common area was very nice with a full kitchen in the annex where I stayed. Able to refreeze my cooler ice which was a bonus. Super nice staff, very clean, nice finishes in room. Out in the woods saw raccoon on the road on the way in would definitely recommend

I really enjoyed my stay at Elktrace B&B. My hosts were great, and the scenery was amazing. I used Elktrace as a base for some day trips, The location worked out very well. Whether your goal is to actively enjoy the outdoor activities in the area, or to just relax and decompress this facility is ideal. The next time I’m in the area I will definitely consider Elktrace.

Wow! What can I say, but wow! This is an amazing jewel! I can't wait to take my husband and boys back for snowboarding at Wolf Creek and stay here! Evelyn and Carolyn make you feel like family. The property is beautiful and relaxing. A definite must if you plan a trip to Pagosa Springs!
