"This was my 3rd one-night stay at the El Dorado Classic. This last visit I stayed on the 4th floor and the suite was basic but very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. There was very hot water , which wasnāt available during previous stays in lower rooms. I did observe that the hot water began running out once. I also had difficulty charging my phone there, though the reception staff and another hotel staff were immediately responsive to aid me in this matter, just not in my actual room. Reception worked quickly and efficiently to get our substantial party checked in, and demonstrated professionalism and attention to each concern. During a Saturday night, music emanating from a neighboring business was loud and thumping and so I could not sleep much. While this is not a fault of the hotel, people should request a room away from the street. Overall, a fantastic deal for about $59 per night."
"So itās not right next to central Iquitos, but that doesnāt matter. Central is a quick moto taxi ride for very cheap, or a 15-20 minute walk. What matters to me is how nice this place was. Iquitos is a rowdy town. Itās lively with a lot of hustle and bustle. This property is not: it is serene. I loved it so much, I ended up staying an extra night. Itās calm, relaxing, and downright beautiful. Right when you walk in, you are met with a beautiful courtyard that centers a gorgeous pool. Thereās a small bar and restaurant, excursion services, and a 24 hour service concierge. My bed was comfy and the hotel is quiet and filled with beautiful flowers and trees and plants (yes inside the hotel). Will stay again 100%. Ps. The staff were all incredible. Such cool people!"
"I really enjoyed my stay. Everyone was nice and helpful. Air conditioning was great to have, and the breakfasts were delicious. The area around it can be noisy at night, so I was glad I brought earplugs. Obviously the hotel cannot control that, but something to consider."
