"Friendly staff, easy check in. Clean and tidy. It is value for money - do not expect the Ritz. Was there in a party of four on a uni reunion and perfect for one night. Free parking, on the bus route to town, nearby shops inc Tesco and Sainsburys Express, Greggs and Costa. Would recommend and would stay again."

"Location! This was an excellent choice to walk all over Oxford, the breakfast (for a fee) was superb & met dietary restrictions. The staff and Lobby area are wonderful. My only small complaint is the general WiFi is not great, but by joining their corporate membership program, you can access a better network AND get a complimentary beverage."

"The room was well equiped with everything we needed as well as being spotlessly clean. It was especially nice to have a big screen tv, a fridge and ironing equipment as well as a digital bedside clock. The air con worked really well. The breakfast was really nice with a good selection of items for full english as well as contental. The only thing we were disappointed with was the bacon which looked very tasty but didnt taste very nice at all. The sausages however, were excellent. The hotel is only a short walk from the station and is very close to many shops, pubs and other attractions."

"Nice hotel in a lovely location if you like a bit of a walk. Rooms are renovated and property is well maintained. Larger size bed was very comfortable. Some things don't match the ambition. For example, no way to get coffee in the morning. My room had an electric cattle."
